Troubleshooting

TODO: this page will cover the common failure modes and how to recover:

• Install hangs (Docker / Colima not ready, Ollama timeout)
• FDA permission denied (Apple Mail, Messages, Contacts, Calendars)
• Hub launch fails after macOS update (re-grant permissions, rebuild index)
• Companion can't find Hub (Wi-Fi, mDNS, firewall)
• Encryption passphrase forgotten (recovery options, when there are none)
• Disk space pressure (vector store, cache, wiki rebuild)
• LaCie / external drive mount issues (see related troubleshooting note in CM051)

For each: symptom, diagnosis, fix, and a doctor command to run. Link to relevant log files.
